Mt Difficulty Wines Bannockburn Dry Riesling 2019 (6 Bottles) Central Otago

by Wines By Cellars 0 orders

A bouquet of bright orange blossom and ripe apricot lead to notes of lime on the palate. This wine is broadly textured with an apricot kernel phenolic structure. Soft acidity brings this wine into perfect harmony.

About Mt Difficulty Wines

We are best known for some of the oldest vineyard sites in the unique microclimate of Bannockburn, Central Otago, as well as our sister label Roaring Meg. We grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc.

We are comprised of many vineyards, spanning Central Otago from Gibbston, to Lowburn Valley, to Bendigo, with our home still under the mountain at Bannockburn. Central Otago provides New Zealand’s only ‘continental’ style climate combined with unique soils ideally suited for growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris.

Yet we continue to push the limits of what we are capable of, with experimental plantings of Chenin Blanc and Syrah.
